I really liked this wedding. I have actually been to a wedding at this venue, and let me tell you it is stunning! The old school house is full of vintage finds, antique pictures, and just an all around amazing feeling! I must admit though, that the wedding I went to didn’t have the same beautiful charm as Leah and Kalani’s. They really pulled together a beautiful day with a lot of DIY details. Here is what their coordinator had to say: Leah and Kalani’s June wedding was full of fun, unique, elements, that reflected them perfectly– mainly because many of them were custom made by the couple. Kalani, the groom, DIY’d the save the dates, and invitations (under Leah’s direction), and the couple prepared their many fun custom signs together.
Leah chose a cheerful color palette of blues and pinks– dressing the bridesmaids in blue, and the groomsmen in pink ties. The couple included a lei exchange as part of their ceremony– in honor of the groom’s island heritage. Meanwhile the stylish bride had three dresses (ceremony, dinner, dance floor) that she changed throughout the night.
