Let us be a Team!

There is a hit series called “Master of Sex”. One line in it impressed me a lot. “I want to be with you, like a team.” Then I realized that marriage of two is more like a team than competitors. As a team, you work together and share all the responsibilities. If wife cooks, husband helps clean up the dishes.  If husband does the laundry, wife would fold the clothes when they come out of the dryer.  If one goes to change the sheets on the bed, the other would follow him/her to help. So in marriage, you are not competing with your lover but working together with him/her. We should not take account of who had done the most work that day. We should not let the selfishness run deep and then frequently be the foundation for an argument.  Sharing the load was so much easier than fighting over who did more or how.
