Where to Buy the Best Bridal Boleros Online? Go to dressv.com

I love anything to do with weddings - doesn't everyone? With the present trend for strapless  wedding dresses,bridal boleros have never been so fashionable. Many churches for example require you to cover your shoulders so it is a necessity for the ceremony. Boleros also give you the opportunity to change your appearance - in Japan and China, brides often have more than one wedding dress they change into throughout the day - we may not go that far, but wearing a stole or shawl that can be removed to show those beautiful shoulders is a cheaper alternative.

For all those reasons and just because they are gorgeous, I've chosen a selection of great wedding boleros in a variety of styles and in a range of prices. You can choose from lace or faux fur, chiffon or satin; plain white, ivory white, black or any color in between. These are beautiful wraps and shrugs that will create just the right accent to your wedding attire. Since it’s winter this time, it’s a great choice to pick up a fur bolero wedding jacket. There are lots of reasons to pick a faux fur wrap not least of all because they look fabulous! For me it is the obvious choice for an autumn or winter wedding. Traveling to and from home, church and reception requires something a little warmer than bare shoulders even for the most hardy bride. Most of the ones available today are warm without being too heavy and confining.

The length of the jacket may be very short, with just enough fabric to cover the arms and across the breasts. Some jackets, on the other hand, are designed to reach the knees. Choose a style that complements the wedding dress.

reblogged: Beat the Winter Blues Together

original: http://marriage.about.com/b/2013/12/18/beat-the-winter-blues-together.htm

By Sheri & Bob Stritof

Since the Winter Solstice, the shortest day of the year, is just around the corner, think positive thoughts that the days will get longer and we will have more light to help boost spirits.
"Since people have to stay indoors in the freezing cold weather, many kinds of entertainment have been invented to help pass the time. One is painting to welcome spring. On the Winter Solstice, people hang an unfinished painting on the wall, which contains a plum tree and 81 uncolored flowers. Everyday a flower is painted red and when the whole work is done, the bright blossoms indoors will meet the early bursting buds outside the window."

Take a walk around the block, gather around your fireplace, have a dinner and light candles, watch a movie you know you will both enjoy, look at garden catalogs if you like to garden. Enjoy some hot chocolate. Find simple ways to enjoy the season!

reblogged: Green Bridesmaid Dresses

original: http://www.mywedding.com/articles/green-bridesmaid-dresses/

I love a green wedding as it is one of my very favorite colors. It just has so much flexibility. It can be modern and zen when alongside warm earth tones, or light and airy with pastel pinks.  From the pale loveliness of mint to the bold statement of emerald, there is a hue for every type of bride–and bridesmaid.  If you are trying to select just the right shade for your own wedding, take a gander at this round-up.  I know I’m not supposed to play favorites (shhh), but I’m pretty fond of this lace number (below).

High Low Prom Dress

High low prom dresses give you the glamour of a long evening gown with the comfort and youthful style of a short dress. This selection of high low gowns and dresses includes sexy animal print dresses and elegant strapless dresses for prom or formals. In our collection of high-low dresses you will find beauty pageant gowns and black tie formal dresses all designed to show of your lovely legs and amazing shoes.

Pageant dresses should make you look and feel your best and this strapless long sequined dress by Sherri Hill will do just that! A stunning pageant evening gown covered in dazzling sequins of gold and silver. Designed to flatter your figure with a high low hemline, it lets you flaunt those gorgeous legs and a small train that will look sensational on the runway.

Mother is the Most Beautiful Woman in the World. See Mother Dresses on dressv, com

When I was a little girl, my mom was a very young and elegant lady. Compared to other kids’ mom, my mom is the most beautiful and attractive mother. At that time, she was good at what she was doing. She was nice and kind to other people. In my little heart, she was a super woman. And I was hoping I could be her when I grew up.

One day, I came to the age of they called, growing up. I was so excited to be a young lady out of a little girl. But at the same time, I also found that my mom was turning old. There were wrinkles growing on her face, gray hairs adding in her hair. Mom seems shorter than before. I was so sad to realize my mom was actually growing old with me growing up. And I feel even more sad because I can do nothing about it.

Now, I am going to have the biggest event of my life--getting married. I know after marriage, I will start a new life, a life that consists of me and my husband, and soon our babies. I will first become someone’s wife, and then some kids’s mother. I should no longer be that little girl or young lady of my mother and father. After this new life, I would become a truly woman, just like my mother. So on this day, I would pick up a perfect dress for my dear mother, making her the prettiest mother of bride in the world. A friend of mine recommended me the dressv.com, so I decided to have a look on that wed. After I find that dreaming dress for mother, I would say to her: mom, how amazing you are! I love you, forever.

Get ready for the next big wedding dress trend: the jeweled neckline! There are so many reasons to love this look — a crystal-encrusted yoke means your dress has built-in glamour and you can skip the necklace, which will save you money when it comes to accessorizing. Scroll down to see some of our favorite dresses from the 2014 runways that are covered in gorgeous gemstones and jewels (we’re talking serious sparkle).
